This beautiful mustang lives wild and free in the high desert plains of Colorado. He snuck up beside us, only a few yards away, and paused at the top of the ridge. He stood overlooking the water hole like a king surveying his kingdom, intent and focused. I couldn't believe he was there, ignoring us. The horses below him were all that he paid attention to, and then finally, took the group that were with him down the hill to join others at the watering hole.
