FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who took these photos?

I took them myself! All photos in this shop were taken by me with a full frame DSLR at high resolution, and then hand edited to bring out the best colors for printing.

How quickly will my item ship?

Prints and canvases will ship in 3-5 business days.

Estimated delivery time for printing, assembling, packing and shipping is around 10 days.

Acrylic and metal prints can take 7-10 days to create, and then another 5-6 days for shipping.

Do you ship Internationally?

Currently we ship to Canada, Western Europe and Australia. For orders from Western Europe and Australia, I use a professional print lab in Europe.

I live in Alaska and Hawaii, is shipping free?

Sorry but shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is not free. If you live in those 2 states, please select "Everywhere else" in the shipping options. Shipping will have a cost per canvas. Please reach out to me so I can give you a quote.

What happens when I place an order?

Usually it takes 3-5 business days to print and frame but can take up to 5 business days depending on how many orders we have to do. Then it's shipped and I'll send you the tracking number. If you are within the 48 states (minus Alaska and Hawaii), shipping will take 3-5 business days.

What shipping company do you use?

We usually use Fedex and UPS for most prints and canvases, and USPS for smaller prints. Acrylic and metal prints may also come via DHL.

The canvas is a lot bigger (or smaller) than I thought. Do you except exchanges?

Please make sure to measure your wall before you purchase. But in the case that you need to exchange it, please send it back to us and I will process your exchange. Buyer is responsible for shipping return.

Will the colors match exactly what I see on screen?

We cannot guarantee that the colors will match exactly what you see on your screen. Different monitors may display colors differently unless they've been calibrated.

If your monitor is not calibrated, it's brightness, contrast as well as the lighting condition in your room can all affect how the final print compares to what you see on your screen.

My canvas or print was damaged during shipping. What will you do?

All canvases are carefully & individually wrapped with cardboard corners and bubble wrap, but if it was damaged during shipping, please send photos of the damage and I will send you a replacement at no cost.

Am I responsible for customs and duty import taxes on international orders?

Buyers are responsible for any customs and duty/VAT taxes that may apply. These are calculated at the discretion of your country's tax and postal system. Sandy Dobbs Fine Art is not responsible for delays or any charges due to customs.

What is your return policy?

We will replace any orders that are damaged in shipping, and can exchange items for a different size. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
